A Nigerian man today has gone into fury, destroying cars in the office of the High Commission of Nigeria in London, UK, after Commission officials allegedly failed  to comply with his request.

A video circulating on social media shows UK High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, George Oguntade, inspecting the vandalized cars and asking how this happened.

Meanwhile, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, President / CEO, Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) described the attitude of a 32-year-old Nigerian, Jeffrey Apkovweta  Ewohime, who destroyed several properties of the Nigerian embassy in London as despicable and reprehensible.

In a statement by his media advisor, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, said that such an attitude was unpatriotic, and an act of undisputed indiscipline, Dabiri-Erewa said he received a report that Emohime went to Nigeria Embasy in London on Monday. He approached the embassy to get the passport that expired since November 2017 at around  2 pm and was informed that the passport collection closes at 1 pm.

He then insisted on collecting his passport and was instructed to bring his voucher for collection that he could not produce.

According to reports from the embassy,   it would obviously be wrong to hand over your passport to him without his receipt of collection. After that, he left agitated and returned from a nearby hotel to destroy about seven cars, five belonging to the mission, and two to the visitors who parked nearby.
His attempt to destroy the High Commissioner's car failed as it is a bullet proof. "I was told he was arrested by the police. "This is a despicable act, which must  be condemned by all. Of course, the law will take its course. "

Dabiri-Erewa begged Nigerians abroad to exercise restraint and be good ambassadors for Nigeria at all times and under all circumstances.
