We all know the monumental difference Virgil van Dijk made for Liverpool's defense.
Almost unquantifiable is the difference which the imperious Dutch made.
Former Leicester midfielder Vincente Iborra, now playing for Villarreal, spoke about his former teammate at Fox, Harry Marguire, and the possibility of the defender transferring to Manchester City as "Van Dijk's for the Liverpool ".
The speculation continues to connect Maguire to Pep Guardiola's team after Vincent Kompany left City to join Anderlecht.
Iborra believes the former Sheffield United and Hull City coach could make a similar impact at Etihad with Van Dijk, a £75 million star, along with the European champions.
Iborra spent 18 months alongside Maguire at King Power Stadium Radio told Marca: "He's a great player.
"He's very powerful, with good balance, great at bringing the ball out and can score goals."
"He had a great World Cup and is a super footballer.
"His move to Manchester City could be like Van Dijk's for Liverpool."
