Bambam cries out after Nigeria police harassed her brother

BBNaija star Bambam expressed his frustration in social media after his brother was harassed by police on his way to Ibadan.

According to the reality show star, his brother and his driver were on their way to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan when they were arrested and harassed by the police.

Bambam alleged that his brother was beaten by police and they threatened to shoot him after accusing him of being an armed robber.

She wrote:

"My brother today was harassed and beaten by @PoliceNG along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

After being accused of being an armed robber. #wtf 😠😠😠 he was with my driver and his friend going to IITA in Ibadan! They even threatened to shoot! That should freakn stop!

This is the latest among several cases of police brutality against Nigerian civilians in recent months and calls are being made by public figures and celebrities to end this unfair treatment of the Nigerian police.
