Burna Boy's mother gives a powerful acceptance speech as his son wins the best international Act at the 2019 Bet Award (video)

The mother of the Burna boy delivered a special message in accepting the honor for the "best international act" at the BET Awards.

Bose Ogulu, manager and mother of the afro-fusion musician, accepted the award on behalf of his son. Ogulu, who has accepted trophies for his son in  the past, also came up with a quick word for African Americans.

"Thank you very much BET, thank you, Africa.This is the constituency we were noticed in. Burna's message would be that every Negro should please remember  that you were African before it became anything else."
