Frank Lampard clearance for Chelsea-Michael Ballack as assistant manager?

For weeks, Frank Lampard is negotiated as a possible successor to the dismissed Maurizio Sarri as coach of Chelsea. Now the club's legend has apparently received the green light from its current club, Derby County.

Frank Lampard's return to Chelsea is apparently nothing on the way. Derby County gave their team manager permission to negotiate with the blues for the coach's vague work. The shared with the second division.

Chelsea are in search of a new coach after the transfer of Maurizio Sarri to Juventus Turin, current Italian champion. With the release of Lampard, the nvestigation must arrive "fast" to the end, Derby writes in his statement.

Ballack as an assistant in the conversation

Lampard has been active as a pro for Chelsea for 13 years, winning three league titles and four FA Cups, in addition to the Champions League (2012) and the Europa League (2013). In Derby he was for the first time since last summer as a coach of the team and missed the rise in the Premier League conceivable only  in the final of the play-off against Aston Villa with assistant coach John Terry, his long-time friend in the blues.

As a possible Lampard assistant at Chelsea, Michael Ballack is talking. The former DFB captain spent four years alongside Lampard for the Londoners. He is currently acquiring the UEFA B license in Wales. For Lampard's birthday a few days ago, Ballack congratulated the social media on the phrase: "See you soon!"
