Man Utd still interested in Leicester City Harry Maguire

Manchester United continue to show interest in England's Leicester defender Harry Maguire despite Foxes not wanting to sell the player.

United retreated from negotiations last summer, feeling that the £ 70m price tag was excessive.

However, with United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eager to bolster his defensive options this summer, Maguire remains on the club's radar.

Leicester is in a strong bargaining position though.

The defender signed a five-year contract in September and new coach Brendan Rodgers made it clear at the end of the season that he believes
Maguire could develop further if he stays with King Power.

The England midfielder is not the only defender United are interested in.

Solskjaer also holds interest in the left-back of Crystal Palace, Under-21, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old was voted the Palace's Player of the Year this season, the first full campaign of his senior career.

United would have to pay a rate well above £ 40 million if it tried to move forward with an agreement for the young man.
