Matthijs de Ligt tried forcing Barcelona in a last contact

The Blaugrana club was surprised by the last contact, since they were frozen negotiations. They are convinced that the football player is wrong in their  decision, but they were always certain that they would not pay multimillion dollar amounts to a 19-year-old footballer. His record would have caused a real  earthquake in the locker room.

De Ligt plans to announce his decision in the next few days, maybe this week and in Barca they give the player almost lost. They do not believe they are willing to sign Blaugrana's offer, although they are waiting for a last call to know their destination. It is very likely that the player himself reports his
decision after a few months of many contacts. De Ligt will explain his reasons and hopes to maintain good relations with Barca for the future.
