UNIBEN 300L MLS student, Christabel commits suicide viral news (video)

A student at the 300-level Medical Laboratory of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Christabel was discovered yesterday dead in her hostel room in Newton Street,  Ekosodin area of ​​Benin City, after allegedly taking some deadly substance to end her life. The details of the incident were still incomplete as in press time yesterday, but according to eyewitnesses, she mixed the deadly insecticide popularly called Snipper with a Sprite drink and would have left a suicide note where she said she was about to take life because the beloved guy did not love her back after her  boyfriend broke up with her.

But another witness who confirmed the incident said an empty sachet of Klin detergent was found where his body lay.

Meanwhile, in a social media post from Uniben Metro, it was reported that the suicide note, which is already in police custody at the Ugbowo police station, was addressed to two people, names retained and the two people were invited to the police . interrogation station.

The post claimed that the suicide was not due to relationship issues between the deceased and her boyfriend but rather unresolved personal issues between the two  people to whom the letter was addressed.

"The letter did not indicate what happened between the two people mentioned, which is why the police invited them to unveil the reasons behind the actions of the deceased," the statement said.
